About

Hi, I'm imnb. I build systems that make it to production.

I'm a software engineer from Kathmandu, Nepal, working across cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and full-stack product development. My favorite place to operate is the seam between those disciplines: where an idea has to become a system that actually runs, scales, and survives real users.

I hold the AWS Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Machine Learning Engineer - Associate certifications, which back up hands-on work with containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, data workflows on Airflow, and production ML delivery on SageMaker.

Beyond shipping code, I care deeply about software architecture, system design, and the practices that keep teams fast and codebases maintainable, which is most of what I write about on this site.

Why I write

The blog, and how I approach it.

imnb.me doubles as my technical notebook: long-form articles on cloud, ML, and software engineering.

Depth over breadth

One topic covered thoroughly beats five topics skimmed. Every article aims to be the resource I wish I'd had.

Production-focused

Real-world examples, failure modes, and trade-offs, not just happy-path tutorials.

Learning in public

Teaching is how I solidify my own understanding, and how I give back to the community I learned from.
